Heroin Makes Great Music

Now I know what you're thinking. Retarded fucking assshole wants to glorify intravenous drug abuse! Wrong. I do however want to bring to light the fact that, for whatever reason, for whatever cosmic disturbance in the force unknown to the masses, that between puking their brains out and sleeping, Smack heads armed with instruments do a service to music as a whole. I will now list some Heroin Addicts and their contribution to music. Decide for yourself...
  • Bradley Nowell (Pool Shark)
  • Layne Staley (Junkhead)
  • Keith Richards (Coming Down Again)
  • Lou Reed (Heroin)
  • Dee Dee Ramone
  • John Lennon (Cold Turkey)
  • Slash and Izzy Stradlin (Mr. Brownstone)
  • Anthony Kiedis and Hilel Slovak (Under the Bridge)
  • Nikki Sixx (Dancing on Glass)
  • Boy George (You Are My Heroin)
  • Miles Davis
  • Kurt Cobain
  • Elliot Smith (King's Crossing)
  • Trent Reznor (Hurt)
  • Neil Young written about Crazy Horse guitarist
  • Danny Whitten (The Needle and the Damage Done)
  • Shannon Hoon
  • Scott Weiland
  • Dave Matthews
  • Sly Stone
  • The La's (There She Goes)
  • James Taylor (Fire and Rain)
  • The Stanglers (Golden Brown)
  • Savoy Brown (Needle and Spoon)
I know, I know, there are tons more.. I just wanted to list a few that you'd easily recognize. These summa-mo-bitches are ALL famous in their own right and dag-nabbit they make great music. I have read and heard stories of people saying they are "enlightened" or have "acute sensory" when on drugs. I'm sure you've heard of LSD, Tim Leary and the whole "Tune in, Drop out" mambo jahambo.. The ability to See Music and Hear Colors. This has always been fascinating to me. Evidently, there's something to it. There are to many musicians using heroin and other mind altering substances to deny it. Sadly, A LOT of them die from over using. Some never fully achieving their own personal apex. This could be the reason for their demise as well.. I'll delve in to more on that at a later date. For now, I hope music continues to do what it's intended to do.. Entertain and Inspire. Oh! Bless the wicked internet for providing free music! :)  ttyl..
